Varta-Akku auf der Platine durch NiMh ersetzen?

    Ich habe hier auf dem Board eines elektronischen Fernschreibers (Siemens T1000S) eine Schaden durch einen Varta-Akku.

    Das ist ja auch Grund des Alters (Baujahr 1986) vermutlich ein NiCd-Akku. Kann ich den in solchen Schaltungen einfach durch einen NiMh-Akku ersetzen?

    Oder gibt es noch NiCd-Akkus in dieser Bauform?
