Hallo allseits,
„Lo and behold, I found a German KERNAL in my EPROM jar! It differs from the one at Zimmers by two bytes.
Like i suspected, the vertical sync position is different so the screen is moved to the right. Also character encoding is different and my artful box drawing chars are ruined. Also the character handling itself is different, for example the vertical line character is not printed at all therefore the whole text is misaligned. Keyboard mapping is also quite different. This is really a tough one.
How widespread is this KERNAL in Germany? I need to know if I need to spend time working around it...“
Danke Euch allen!
Christian
P.S.: Michal präsentiert seine VGA-Karte beim (virtuellen) Commodore User Group Europe Meeting am kommenden Samstag (12.06.21). Link: http://www.commodore-users.eu
