I was performing a syscopy and because the source disk was write protected there was an BIOS error after reading the disk - I then placed the destination disk in and it wrote to the disk. But it did not pick up the disk after a reboot.
So I repeated the procedure but at one point my son pressed the ESC which terminated the program.
Since then the working system disks fail to be recognised and so the floppy drive just sits with the led flashing but no spin and the screen remains blank. Even after resets and reboots. machine boots to the basic when the FD is switched off.
Anyone come across this issue?
