thanks for your reply. The ram is soldered on the 286 board. I am not able to test it. The best should be to know the beep code.

Anyway I tried putting on the main board a different 286 board and this latter is working.

When I switch on the computer I see lights on the keyboard. So I assume the keyboard is working fine. However I am not sure how to change video without see the bios.

I was thinking to flash the update bios and see what happen or to use the universal bios xtide on a net card.

If I remove the dallas chip there is only one continuous beep.

Any idea where I can find the manual?

Sono qui per aiutarti con la mia "nuova" torre Schneider cpu-286. Si accende ma sento solo sei bip e nient'altro. Ho hackerato di nuovo il chip Dallas. Qualche consiglio?
