I got a lot the other day of ICs and among them is a set of DIP40 ics marked IBM52. I havent found any information. maybe someone recognizes them from where they came from.
I opened a couple to see if they all were the same but it looks like they are different dies. and also they have imprinted the number on the outside. on the die.
another peculiarity was the holes and that the die is under.
given the ammount of different and by the look of the die I dont think this belong to a PC. rather from the 70". mainframe-wise,
