I lost my root password! What do I do?

        stop sweating
        grab a solaris cdrom and put it in your cdrom drive
        hit stop+a
        at the 'ok' prompt, run boot cdrom -s
        cd /tmp
        mkdir /tmp/xxx (doesn't matter what xxx is)
        mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /tmp/root/xxx (where c0t 0d0s0 is the location of your root drive)
        start csh
        setenv TERM vt220
        cp /tmp/root/xxx/shadow /tmp/root/xxx/shadow/shadow.oops
        vi /tmp/root/xxx/shadow and delete the encrypted password on the root account
        reboot, login with root a nd no password, and reset your root password
