Gewicht so um die 60 bis 70 Kilo. Man muss also zu zweit schleppen.
Ohje... was ist denn da drin, dass das so schwer ist?
Wackersteine? Geröll?
Bild des Inneren wäre sicherlich interessant!
Pyewacket You seem to have lot of experience with it.
I would like to expand my system with LAN (token-ring) and maybe with RS-232 too. Have you ever done it?
I have tracked down the FRU codes for the expansion cards and I am searching for them.
My major worries go to the microcode - do you know if it is the same across regions?
Thank you in advance

My knowledge is mainly 5360/5362 related (I have none of them).
I have not yet received the 5363, still waiting for a kind soul
to transport the machine to me.
Base SSP has nor support vor communication, so you need the appropriate SSP feature.
Same applies for LAN attachment which needs another SSP feature.
What language version of SSP do you have?
I don't think the microcode stuff is language specifig
What devices do you want to communicate with?
Asyn support is very limited, the only application if know of is ITF, a kinde of teletype emulation.
No fullscreen, just line after line.
For remote workstations or connection to other S/36 or mainframes you need the SDLC adapter.
